Paul Waggott

Paul (he/him) is an award-winning actor and voice artist based in Auckland, Aotearoa/New Zealand. He trained at Victoria University of Wellington, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Theatre in 2011. Since then he has been working professionally across NZ and the UK on stage, screen, and audio. Recent stage credits include The Road That Wasn’t There (Trick of the Light Theatre, NZ Tour, 2019); Anahera (Finborough Theatre, London, 2019); Feel More (The Lion and Unicorn theatre, London, 2020); The Griegol (Trick of the Light Theatre, NZ, 2021). Paul can also currently be found starring in the critically acclaimed, multiple award-winning mockumentary podcast The Offensive produced by Primley Media and Stak, as well as Wars That Shaped the World produced by Holy Smokes Audio and Goalhanger Podcasts.

For Trick of the Light, Paul has performed in Broken River, BEARDS! BEARDS! BEARDS!, The Road That Wasn’t There, The Bookbinder, and The Griegol.
