Debbie Fish

Debbie Fish is an installation artist based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara and co-director of GoldFish Creative, making creative events and projects happen. Her theatre, performance, and set design background feeds into her practice as an installation artist, using playful ways to examine complex issues. She is particularly interested in exploring themes of sustainable oceans, circular economies and ecological economics in her work, often using found and recycled materials to help tell the story. Debbie currently works as an Economics Analyst at NZ Fisheries, Manatū Ahu Matua.

With Trick of the Light she was production manager for Broken River.
